Q: Do you offer refunds?
There are no refunds for services provided.
Q: What are the fees?
Individual counseling fees are $160 per 50-min session and Couple and Family fees are $180 per 50-min session.
Q: Do you accept health insurance for payment?
Like most private practitioners in New York City, I am an out-of-network provider for all insurance companies. This means I do not accept insurance directly and payment is due at time of service. However, if your policy includes out-of-network mental health benefits, I make the reimbursement process as seamless as possible by providing all the necessary paperwork, including receipts and diagnosis codes, in a timely fashion. Additionally, if your employer offers Health Savings Accounts (HSAs) or Flex Savings Accounts (FSAs) those can be used for reimbursement of services as well.
It is our experience that most patients with out-of-network mental health coverage are reimbursed for 60 to 80% for the cost of their sessions. It is helpful to call individual insurance providers to determine level of coverage prior to your initial session.
Here are the questions to ask:
1) Does my policy include out-of-network coverage for mental health services?
2) Does my policy have any deductibles or co-pays? If so, what are they?
3) Will services provided by a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist be reimbursed by my policy?
Q: What method of payment do you accept?
Payments are accepted as either Venmo, Zelle, or CashApp. Payment is collected at the end of each session.
Q: What is your cancellation policy?
Please cancel within 24 hours of appointment time. Any appointments not canceled within 24 hours of the appointment start time, will be charged the full session fee.
